The MN-FIC is the Minnesota chapter of the National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counsellors (NAFIC). FIC stands for “fraternal insurance counselor,”
a credential sponsored by the Fraternal Field Managers Association (FFMA).

Membership in the MN-FIC is governed by our parent organization, the National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counsellors (NAFIC).

The FFMA awards FIC credentials "to field representatives who have demonstrated the desire to become knowledgeable, well-rounded sales professionals."

These representatives complete four specialized courses through Kaplan Financial Education and must work for 12 consecutive months for a fraternal benefit society that is a member of the American Fraternal Alliance.

The credential FIC represents a desire on the part of the insurance professional to improve knowledge and client care through training, and a commitment to the ideals and values of the fraternal insurance industry.
